Youth Mental Health Workshop

Hello everyone,

Would you like to share your experience and thoughts about mental health and wellbeing? Here is your chance to do so!

MIRM invites you to participate in a discussion workshop and complete a series of activities to tell us your ideas about mental health and wellbeing, and your online experiences that help or make it harder for people to be mentally healthy. The workshop will include activities that involve drawing, writing, and discussions where you can express your opinions and thoughts, whilst also having the opportunity of interacting with your peers. Activities will cover topics like what positive and negative mental health means for you, your take on the available online and offline support resources, social attitudes towards mental health in Malaysia, and sharing your opinion on things that shape mental wellbeing.

This project is implemented by MIRM in partnership with Young Resilient Research Centre at Western Sydney University and UNICEF. A Certificate of Participation will be given to participants (endorsed by MIRM and the Young Resilient Research Centre – University of Western Sydney – UWS). Your thoughts matter! Input provided will be sent to UWS to be included in their report for the project. Food and refreshments will be provided. Details of the workshop are as follows:

Date: Thursday, 15th September 2022
Time: 2 pm-6 pm
Venue: BAC PJ Campus (room TBC)

If you would like to register for the workshop, please Whatsapp Amanda Kong (Community Development Manager, MIRM) at 0122166148.
Hope to see you at the workshop!

The event is finished.
